CIRP Annals – Manufacturing Technology, published since 1960, is a leading journal dedicated to disseminating high-quality, state-of-the-art research in manufacturing science and technology. Through concise and rigorously reviewed contributions, it seeks to define and advance the frontiers of production engineering. The Journal provides a premier platform for the communication of outstanding research and emerging knowledge to the CIRP community as well as the broader international scientific and industrial audience, while upholding the highest standards of scientific rigor and excellence.
From 2026 onward, CIRP Annals – Manufacturing Technology accepts submissions from researchers without a CIRP affiliation for Issues 3–6 each year, while maintaining its strong ties to CIRP through a rigorous peer review process overseen by CIRP members. As usual, the journal publishes technical papers in Issue 1 and keynote papers in Issue 2, both presented at CIRP General Assemblies.
